Projects
Here's a look back on the past twenty four months of projects that I executed for a range of clients across key climate and technology sectors.
Sustainable Aviation
I worked with XPlane Labs, a New Zealand-based company developing exciting hydrogen aviation technology on their application. I developed the entire technical volume for a New Zealand innovator award, which outlined strategy for commercial entry, commercial feasibility, and positioned how the technology would support New Zealand's budding hydrogen ecosystem.
I've also worked with U.S. based hydrogen aviation company ZeroAvia (Times #1 Greentech Company), on their efforts to expand grant funding in the United States. I assisted and drove several technical volumes, including an SBIR NASA bid, an application to enter the California ARCHES Program (secured), MADE IT, among other DOE efforts.
I've also worked with an electric propulsion and battery storage company Wright Electric on a Concept Paper for the DOE.

Renewable Energy Systems
I've recently worked with a U.S.-based nuclear reactor company on their efforts to secure grant funding for commercializing their modular nuclear reactor system.
These applications included seeking funding for pre-application activities such as Topical Reports and White Papers to fill critical regulatory gaps, as well as applications that outline the approach for deploying SMRs and providing rational on how commercializing these energy systems aligns with domestic energy needs.

Research Funding
i'm currently driving federal applications for a new Vector control product, which requires me to submit research proposals to both federal and private funders, including the NIH. I also wrote the technical document for a laboratory seeking EU funding.

Lithium Batteries, EV, and EV Charging
I've worked with a range of EV companies on efforts across the supply chain. Recently, I completed Arcadium Lithium's grant effort for the DOE, including procuring necessary forms, completing the community benefits plan, technical volume, statement of project objectives, & summary for public release.
I also spearheaded NEVI efforts for an EV charger startup SARIN Energy Solutions, which sought state funding from Kansas, Texas, and New York (secured).

Recent SBIR Experiences
I conducted a compliance review on a USDA SBIR application for a aquaculture startup, where I identified key issues which would have resulted in a non-compliant and non-competitive application, further saving the client thousands of dollars in application activities. I also recently assisted on a hydrogen NASA SBIR.

HEAR, HOMES, EAT, and Workforce Development Grants
I've worked with several nonprofit and for-profit entities on their efforts to secure workforce development funding. Recently, my work with Everblue Training Institute required me to apply to different state agencies to implement their HER and HOMES grant funding, including for states Minnesota and Nevada (secured). I also wrote the EAT application on behalf of the state of Delaware.
I've worked with nonprofit Electrify Equity on their workforce development grants Marylands's Energy Administration grant. Here I provided cost assumption calculations, wrote all narrative documents, and delivered strategic oversight.
